To Collect Your Wines
Visit our store in Calais to collect your order. The store is just 4 minutes from the port and 10 minutes from the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle terminal. There’s plenty of parking and you can take your time to browse our range.
24/7 collection is now also available with our full security lockers.
You can try wines in store to make sure you hit your allowances per person in the car !
The allowance per person is:
- wine (still) - 18 litres (24 bottles)
- beer - 42 litres (14 cases of 12 x 25cl per person!)
You can also bring in either:
- sparkling wine, fortified wine (for example port, sherry) and other alcoholic drinks up to 22% alcohol (not including beer or still wine) - 9 litres (12 bottles)
- spirits and other liquors over 22% alcohol - 4 litres
You can split this last allowance, for example you could bring 4.5 litres of fortified wine and 2 litres of spirits (both half of your allowance).
You can pay in sterling cash (which guarantees the prices advertised) or by card in Euros.

Why do I have to collect in France?
We pay a large amount of tax in this country on wine, which you don’t pay in France. Therefore the transaction itself must be made in person in Calais otherwise it is liable for UK Tax.
Do you deliver?
As the wine has to be physically bought in France to take advantage of the tax savings we can’t deliver. For deliveries to France please email us on [email protected]
How much can I bring back?
