- Rasteau is one of the great appellations of the Southern Rhone valley.
- Similar to Chateauneuf du Pape, the red clay soil of the vineyard is rich in pebbles which are easily warmed and re-radiate their heat to the feet of the vines at night - providing great consistency of rich spicy high quality wines.
- Intense, fine and complex wine - aromas of ripe fruit and spice and rounded fruit flavours with notes of violets, dark fruit and spice.
