- Calais’ oldest monument, The Watch Tower which was built in the 13th century which was used as a lookout and has survived two earthquakes and two world wars!
- The Town Hall which was listed as a World heritage site in 2005. It’s found in the centre of Calais and is famous for representing the merging of St-Pierre and Calais in 1885
- Notre Dame Church which was built during the English occupation of France, dating back to the 13th Century. It remains the only English Gothic-style church in France.

On Thursdays and Saturdays, there are markets which offer local goods to visitors including a product which they are renowned for- Lace. They create a wide range of Lace goods including place mats, table cloths, napkins, lingerie, lace pashminas and much more.
There’s also a wide range of shops including a large shopping centre, Cité Europe, which has over 147 shops including familiar names H&M, Zara and Disney Store.
There are also 20 restaurants and bars found here, and the centre is situated close to the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle. You can also visit Usine Côte d'Opale where you can find even more famous brands at reduced prices.
