About Champagne

Everyone loves a glass of champagne, the sparkling wine which can hold the name only if it is produced from grapes grown in the Champagne region of France, and to very specific practices which date back 200 years. It holds a prestige like no other, and rightly so as a good glass of champagne is to be celebrated.

Black Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier & White Chardonnay are the grape varieties used to produce champagne. The mix of these decides on the style of champagne - such as blanc de blancs which is a pure chardonnay champagne that is increasingly popular.

From Grand Marques such as Taittinger, Pol Roger & Laurent Perrier, to ever popular lesser known names such as Champagne vessier, we have a champagne for every occasion, and budget! Our selection of champagnes start at just £10.99 a bottle, which means you are free to indulge guilt free!
