Production notes

Marcelo Gangas is the senior winemaker for Frontera wines. After graduating from the University of Chile, he joined the Frontera winemaking team in 2008 and soon stamped his personality on each of the wines he made. Marcelo earned a promotion and is now chief winemaker of Chimbarongo, one of the largest wineries in Chile. His skill and dedication have helped to consolidate Frontera as the best selling Chilean wine in the world. “I believe in the originality and strength of new world wines, of joyful spirit and a vibrant personality. The purpose of my job is to instill these emotions into each bottle of wine I make.”

Red meat, pasta with tomato sauce or mild cheeses.

Grape mix

The main grape used is Pais Tinto which is indigenous red grape to Chile along with Burdeos and Aspirant Bouschet which provide low tannin and smoothness.
