Rosemount Diamond Label Shiraz

Tasting notes

Deep plum red colour with purple hues. The nose shows aromas of blackberry, cherry, plum, chocolate, black pepper and spice against a backbone of very subtle, well integrated oak. Rosemount Diamond Label Shiraz has a full bodied, juicy sweet palate with cherry, chocolate and plum flavours. The finish is supported by well balanced, long, silky smooth tannins. It is this fantastic balance that allows for great drinkability.

Production notes

The 2008 vintage was warm to hot, with a pro-longed heatwave in mid- March. However, grapes picked before the elevated temperatures were delivered to the winery in excellent condition, resulting in good varietal definition and balanced flavours.
