This soft and velvety Italian red made from Merlot and Sangiovese grapes is a great example of soft easy drinking red wine.

Quantity

A ruby red wine with fine notes of strawberry and raspberry together with just a hint of violets.

The must is left on the skins for 4-8 days. It is then placed in special tanks where fermentation is completed in 8-10 days at 25°-30°C.

Ideal with savoury first courses, as lasagne and risotti. Excellent with red roasted or grilled meats.
