Tasting notes

A nice alternative to those heavy Malbecs with Otra Vida producing quite a medium bodided version at a very medium price.

Production notes

Grapes were hand picked on March 10th and destemmed and crushed. 30% thermoflash vinification. 70% traditional vinification: maceration before fermentation 30 hours at 15ºC, 8 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 26ºC. Natural malolactic fermentation.

I am not a huge fan of heavy Argentinian Malbecs, and the staff recommended this instead. I'm glad they did because this is exactly the sort of Malbec I was looking for - not too full-bodied but great with steak nonetheless
