With 18 years of experience in the Cross Channel trade, Simon Delannoy arrived in Calais in 1993 and participated from the very beginning in the success of Calais Wine and Beer - sold to Majestic in 2001 and now trading under the name of Wine and Beer World. He teamed up with Marco Attard who owned the Calais Wine and Beer Company and the Oddbins franchise in 2005.
In 2010, they created The Calais Wine Superstore which stocks a range of drinks at UK discounted prices. UK Duty free prices mean we can pass on savings of up to 60% on UK prices, or £3 or more per bottle.
We are 100% independent and family-owned. We aim to have everyday low prices but whenever we can, we'll give you even better deals.
We're easy to find, located in a large modern warehouse store with free customer parking, all the amenities you might expect and more. As well as discounts on wine and other drinks, a visit to The Calais Wine Superstore can include free daily wine tastings and browsing our comprehensive range of wine books and accessories.
